For a Schengen visa, the policy must include at least €30,000 of emergency medical cover, valid in every Schengen country for your whole stay. Beyond the visa, the real value is in emergency medical and evacuation cover, trip cancellation, baggage and delay benefits. There are dedicated plans for Umrah and Hajj.

Schengen visa checklist
- At least €30,000 of emergency medical and repatriation cover.
- Valid in all Schengen countries for the full length of your stay.
- Traveller names and passport details exactly as in the passport.
- A certificate in English that you can print for the visa appointment.
Umrah and Hajj travel cover
Pilgrimage plans focus on emergency medical treatment, evacuation and repatriation, plus trip cancellation and baggage cover, for pilgrims of all ages. Older travellers and anyone with a medical condition should tell me, because age limits and medical declarations differ between insurers.
What travel insurance usually excludes
- Pre-existing medical conditions that weren't declared.
- Adventure or winter sports, unless you add them.
- Travel against official government advice.
- Baggage left unattended, and cash above the policy limit.
- Cover bought after you've already left the UAE. Buy it before departure.
Documents you'll need

Frequently asked questions
How fast can I get a Schengen travel insurance certificate?
Usually the same working day once I have each traveller's passport copy and trip dates. For an appointment in the next day or two, message me on WhatsApp first so I can prioritise it.
Does an annual policy work for a Schengen visa?
Often yes, as long as it meets the €30,000 medical minimum, covers the Schengen area and has a maximum trip length longer than your stay. I'll check that before you rely on it.
Can I buy travel insurance after I've left the UAE?
Most UAE travel policies must be bought before departure. Buy cover as soon as you book, which also means cancellation cover protects you from the start.
Is there family travel insurance?
Yes. Family plans cover parents and children on one policy, which is usually cheaper than insuring everyone separately.
Does travel insurance cover existing medical conditions?
Only if they're declared and accepted by the insurer. Some plans cover stable conditions, others exclude them. Tell me in advance and I'll compare the plans that will cover them.
